Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Java Developer with 6 9 years of experience in designing and developing high-performance, mission-critical, and distributed systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, AWS EKS, and containerized microservices architectures. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can rapidly prototype solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable applications.
II. Roles & Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain scalable, fault-tolerant, and high-throughput applications.
- Build and support server-side components using REST APIs and backend SQL/Stored Procedures.
- Develop microservices and message-based solutions using frameworks like Kafka for high TPS traffic with low latency.
- Work with AWS managed services (EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, EC2, S3, CloudWatch, IAM, Datadog).
- Rapidly prototype and deliver POCs/POTs to validate technical solutions and designs.
- Deploy applications in DevOps environments using CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, uDeploy, Git/Bitbucket).
- Perform application performance tuning and monitor production using tools like Datadog, Splunk.
- Develop and deploy 12-factor, containerized (Docker, Kubernetes) APIs on AWS.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across geographies, driving alignment and ensuring timely delivery.
- Anticipate roadblocks, diagnose issues, and deliver effective, scalable solutions.
- Take ownership of product improvement initiatives and ensure delivery of high-quality outcomes.
6-9 years of hands-on development experience in Java, Spring Boot, and distributed systems.
IV. Educational Qualification & Certifications (Optional): - Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- AWS certifications are a plus.
Must have:
- Proven development experience with high-performance, fault-tolerant, mission-critical applications.
- Strong hands-on skills with Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, REST APIs, SQL.
- Expertise in microservices architecture, distributed systems, and message-based frameworks (Kafka).
- Hands-on experience with AWS EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, EC2, S3, CloudWatch, IAM, Datadog.
- Strong knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience in performance tuning and production monitoring with Datadog, Splunk.
- Ability to work in Agile/DevOps environments with tools like Git/Bitbucket, Jenkins, uDeploy.
Nice to have:
- Exposure to FinOps practices.
- Experience leading teams through influence and collaboration across geographies.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deliver results with high quality.
