Job Description

1) MustHave Skills (NonNegotiable)

Core Java: OOP, collections, exceptions, streams, debugging.
UI Automation: Playwright with Java, framework usage and implementation.
Version Control: Git basics, code coverage tools, handling code conflicts, performing code reviews.
Functional Testing: End-to-end functional validation, test design, testing methodologies
API Testing: Manual API testing, request/response validation.
SQL: Querying, joins, data validation.
CI/CD:TeamCity or Jenkins pipelines.
Build & Test: Maven, TestNG (parallel runs, annotations, reports).
Manual Testing Basics: Understanding test design, edge cases, exploratory testing.
Framework Designing: Ability to design or enhance test automation frameworks.
Exploration & Ownership: Capability to explore new applications and take ownership of QA strategy.

2) GoodtoHave Skills

Playwright MCP
API Automation (beyond manual API testing), Selenium
