Looking for a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to lead and execute the migration of data workflows from Alteryx to Azure Data Factory (ADF) and databases from SQL Server on Prem to Azure SQL Database. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in cloud data engineering, ETL/ELT processes, and Azure ecosystem tools.

Key Responsibilities:

-Lead the migration of existing Alteryx workflows to Azure Data Factory pipelines.

-Migrate on-premise SQL Server databases to Azure SQL Database

-Design and implement scalable, secure, and optimized data pipelines in Azure (ADF).

-Design and implement scalable data models to support analytics, reporting, and enterprise data architecture in Azure cloud environments.

-Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate requirements into optimized conceptual, logical, and physical data models using industry best practices.

-Collaborate with business and analytics teams to understand data requirements and ensure seamless migration.

-Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks post-migration.

-Optimize performance of Azure SQL databases and ADF pipelines.

-Document migration processes, architecture, and best practices.

-Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

-Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

-8+ years of experience in data engineering and ETL development. -Strong proficiency with Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Alteryx.

- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, or PowerShell for scripting and automation.

-Experience with Azure services like Blob Storage, Key Vault, Synapse, and Logic Apps.

-Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance in cloud environments.

-Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

-Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Data Engineer Associate).

-Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices in Azure.

-Familiarity with data visualization tools like Power BI."
