Job Description

Data Migration Engineer (Senior) Summary:
Oversees all aspects of PACS data migration, ensuring integrity, completeness, and compliance.Key Responsibilities:
- Define migration strategy for historical and active imaging data.
- Coordinate with vendors on data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
- Establish data validation protocols and quality assurance measures.
- Manage migration timelines to align with cutover schedules.
- Address data privacy and security requirements.Experience & Skills:
- 10+ years in healthcare data migration, with 5+ years in Change and Merge PACS/VNA projects.
- Proficient in DICOM data handling, metadata mapping, and migration tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills for large-volume data moves.
- Experience with HIPAA compliance and audit readiness.
