Short Brief on role:
The General Manager will lead the internal projects team, responsible for planning and implementation of strategies to develop organizational effectiveness and productivity and in-charge of the quality, process and strategic projects verticals of CMA CGM Agencies India.
Key Responsibilities:
Process Governance
Ownership of business process strategy, implemented in the agency (entry point for HO).
First level validator of IT/ system enhancements & change requests from agency.
Lead global and local process standardization & improvement initiatives.
Establishing Quality Management Systems for the agency.
Performance Monitoring
Monitor global KPIs pertaining to agency productivity & drive continuous improvements.
Define local KPIs and objectives required for specific process enhancements within the agency.
Regular reporting to Management on KPIs and driving preventive / corrective measures for improvements.
Project Coordination
Lead global systems and project deployment in the agency (LISA, Core Model etc).
Monitoring of project status and success.
Liaise with key stakeholders to identify opportunities for new projects pertaining to improvement of service deliverables. Agency Change Management
Define change management strategy.
Monitor and Control staff training and build a unified approach across teams towards quality and service delivery.
Agency Risk & Compliance Management
Monitor the risk identification and control systems within the agency.
Identify, review & implement regulatory & industry compliance (eg: GST).
Initiate regular & periodic internal process audits and SOP reviews. Application Support
Build a robust application support team, catering to first level support for corporate applications and tools & local applications. Key Performance Standards:
Ensuring effective support mechanism is put in place for agency business users with regards to application issues and resolution of process related challenges.
Facilitating continuous improvement of agency KPIs defined by HO and agency management.
Effective management of the agency quality management system and creation of management reports and matrices for the perusal of agency management with regards to the effectiveness of the quality management system.
Identifying and implementing key process and system enhancements resulting in improvement in employee productivity and cost savings.
Successful implementation of internal projects (corporate and local).
Education:
