Java Software Engineer @ Equavantage Consulting

Job Description

As a Java Developer at our company, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable Java applications using Core Java, Spring, and related technologies. You will work closely with product managers, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality software. Your primary skills should include: - Strong proficiency in Core Java, including OOP concepts, collections, multithreading, and exception handling. - Experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data). - Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture. - Knowledge of SQL and relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL). - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. - Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code. - Participating in code reviews and contributing to continuous improvement. - Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues across environments. - Implementing unit and integration tests to ensure code quality. Your secondary skills may include: - Python: Ability to write scripts or small applications for automation, data processing, or integration tasks. - DevOps: Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Jenkins, Git, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP). - Familiarity with monitoring tools and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) is a plus.
