Job Description
- As a PC Game Tester at Snapdragon Studios, your role will involve executing test plans to ensure the best gaming experience on Windows on Arm Snapdragon platforms. You will be responsible for testing PC games, familiarizing yourself with various game storefronts, and delving into performance issues to report them clearly and concisely. This unique opportunity allows you to triage and investigate Windows application failures on Snapdragon Windows devices, contributing to the enhancement of gaming technologies and experiences. Key Responsibilities: - Execute test plans to ensure optimal gaming experience on Windows on Arm Snapdragon platforms - Test PC games, explore game storefronts, and analyze performance issues - Report issues encountered during testing in a clear and concise manner - Triage and investigate Windows application failures on Snapdragon Windows devices Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 4+ years of Software Engineering experience OR Master's degree with 3+ years of experience OR PhD with 2+ years of experience - Minimum 2 years of experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc. - Experience testing video games for 3-5 years - Technical understanding of game technologies, quality settings, and performance - Ability to find, reproduce, and report issues effectively - Excellent pattern recognition skills - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Self-motivated and proactive attitude Additional Company Details: At Snapdragon Studios, we are dedicated to next-generation gaming technologies and delivering exceptional gaming experiences.
