JOB ROLE - Technical Assurance
The Technical Assurance Lead is responsible for driving technical quality, consistency, and compliance across technology solutions and project deliveries. This role ensures that all systems, infrastructure, and application designs align with enterprise architecture, security standards, and business requirements. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise, a strong governance mindset, and the ability to engage cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of robust and secure technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and conduct technical reviews (architecture, infrastructure, code, security) for ongoing projects and major changes
- Define and implement a Technical Assurance Framework aligned with enterprise standards
- Identify technical risks and ensure mitigation strategies are in place.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers and delivery teams to ensure compliance with design and security principles.
- Provide independent oversight for solution architecture and infrastructure readiness
- Maintain technical assurance documentation, review logs and risk registers
- Contribute to continuous improvement of standards, patterns, and governance processes.
- Plan, define, and execute application testing may be required to perform application-level configuration or code updates.
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
- 7-10 years of IT experience, with at least 4 years in technical assurance, architecture, or governance roles
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure (on-prem and virtualization), application architecture, and security frameworks.
- Experience conducting technical reviews in large-scale environments
- Familiarity with compliance standards
- Proficient in tools such as architectural modeling tools, CI/CD Pipelines, testing tools and documentation platforms
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Preferred Competencies
- Strategic thinking with a focus on business and IT alignment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to details with risk-based assurance approach
- Ability to influence cross functional teams and drive outcomes
- Hands-on Developer experience on programming languages (Java, .Net, Python, Ruby, PowerShell, Bash, Perl Nodejs)
- Deep expertise on Windows and Linux platforms experience in upgrades and migration projects
