Job Description
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Power BI Developer to design and deliver enterprise-grade dashboards and analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data modeling, DAX, and visualization best practices , with the ability to translate complex business KPIs into meaningful insights. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams and mentoring junior developers to establish Power BI best practices across the organization.

Mode of Work: Full time -hybrid
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate business KPI definitions from Excel/calculation sheets into scalable data models and dashboards.
- Design and develop enterprise-level dashboards for functions such as COO, HR, Finance, and Operations.
- Define, optimize, and manage DAX measures, calculated columns, and KPIs.
- Integrate data from multiple sources including Excel, SQL, Dataverse, APIs, and AWS data lake.
- Ensure dashboards adhere to data governance, validation, and accuracy standards.
- Mentor junior developers and establish best practices in Power BI (naming standards, performance tuning, and security).
- Collaborate with data engineers and architects to optimize pipelines feeding Power BI.
Requirements:
- 6-10 years of proven experience in Power BI development.
- Strong expertise in DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling.
- Ability to design and implement complex KPIs based on formulas, assumptions, and targets.
- Hands-on experience in data blending from multiple systems (SharePoint, HR systems, Excel, AWS).
- Experience in row-level security (RLS) and governance within Power BI.
- Strong visualization, storytelling, and presentation skills.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring abilities
Good to have skills:
- Experience with Azure Data Services (ADF, Synapse, Data Lake, Databricks).
- Knowledge of SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) Tabular models.
- Familiarity with Python/R for data analysis and integration.
- Experience with Power BI Service administration and workspace management.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
- Understanding of cloud environments like AWS/Azure for data integration.
- Experience in performance optimization of large datasets and dashboards.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for BI deployments.
- Certification in Microsoft Power BI or Azure Data-related certifications.
