Job Title: Optical Network Deployment Engineer

Role Overview:
Join Infogains Network Infrastructure team as an Optical Network Deployment Engineer. Youll work on backbone network deployments (IP & Optical), capacity upgrades, migrations, and decommissioning in a fast-paced environment. Were seeking professionals with strong DWDM, routing/switching, and optical deployment expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy and commission DWDM systems (Ciena, Infinera) in PoPs and Datacenters.
  
• Configure, test, and optimize optical networks (ROADM, Mux/Demux, Amplifiers, Transponders).
  
• Perform migrations, upgrades, and decommissions of network devices.
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, ensuring stability and scalability.
  
• Maintain detailed documentation and collaborate across teams.
  

Required Skills & Experience:

• Hands-on experience with Ciena 6500 (mandatory); Infinera experience preferred.
  
• Strong knowledge of DWDM components, fiber optics, and optical testing tools.
  
• Expertise in routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, MPLS) and TCP/IP.
  
• CCNA/JNCIA or equivalent certification.
  
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and team collaboration skills.
