Job Description
- As a Software Testing Faculty at SMEClabs in Kaloor, Cochin, your role involves delivering engaging and practical training sessions to students and working professionals. You should have a strong foundation in manual and automation testing, guiding learners through hands-on sessions and real-time project scenarios. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver high-quality training on Manual Testing, Automation Testing (Selenium, TestNG, JUnit), Bug Tracking Tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla), and Testing Life Cycle. - Design and update curriculum to align with industry trends and certification requirements. - Prepare lesson plans, assignments, and assessments for student evaluation. - Guide students on live or simulated testing projects, troubleshoot issues, and provide practical assistance. - Conduct doubt-clearing sessions, one-on-one mentorship, and stay updated on software testing trends. - Conduct mock interviews, assist with placement readiness, and maintain academic records. Required Skills: - Proficiency in Manual Testing, Automation Testing tools (especially Selenium WebDriver), and scripting languages like Java/Python. - Knowledge of testing frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, BDD with Cucumber, etc. - Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and DevOps environments would be advantageous. - Excellent presentation, communication, and mentoring abilities. - Ability to simplify complex topics for learners with varying skill levels. Educational Qualification: - Bachelor's/Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - Relevant certification(s) in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, Certified Selenium Tester) is a plus. Preferred Qualifications: - Prior teaching or corporate training experience. - Experience in a software testing role in the IT industry.
