Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Engineer (QE) / Senior Quality Engineer (Senior QE) to join our Quality Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both frontend and backend testing, test automation, and cloud technologies (AWS). You will be responsible for designing and implementing robust test strategies, frameworks, and practices to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.
Requirements
A Bachelors degree or an equivalent qualification, with industry experience as follows: 24 years (QE /SQE)
Hands-on experience in manual and automated testing across frontend and backend components.
Proficiency in UI and API test automation using open-source tools such as Selenium and REST Assured.
Experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch) and cloudbased testing environments.
Ability to review and contribute to the development of automation scripts.
Experience in performance engineering and using performance testing tools like JMeter.
Strong knowledge of software testing processes, practices, test management tools, and test design techniques.
Solid understanding of Java, object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts, and coding standards.
Experience with continuous integration, build, and source control tools such as Jenkins, Maven, and Git.
Familiarity with defect management and the defect lifecycle.
Experience in testing middle-tier and service-oriented architectures using automation frameworks such as REST Assured.
Practical understanding of Agile software testing and software engineering concepts.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Professional certifications such as ISTQB are an added advantage.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and DevOps to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
