Job Description
Role & responsibilities
- Quality Planning & Control
- Develop and implement quality control systems and inspection procedures.
- Plan in-process and patrol inspections during manufacturing 1.
- Draft and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions.
- Audit & Compliance
- Conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
- Host external audits and third-party surveillance activities 2.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and customer-specific requirements.
- Root Cause Analysis & Corrective Actions
- Identify quality issues through data analysis and inspection.
- Use tools like 8D, Pareto, and Why-Why analysis to resolve recurring problems 1.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain audit logs, inspection reports, and non-conformance records.
- Prepare Product Part Approval Process (PPAP) documents for customer validation1.
- Track and close non-conformities.
- Calibration & Instrumentation
- Plan and execute calibration schedules for Testing, Monitoring, and Measuring Equipment (TMMEs) 1.
- Ensure instruments are within tolerance and properly maintained.
- Training & Quality Culture
- Conduct training sessions to promote quality awareness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed quality into processes
