Job Description
OverviewME - Process Engineer (Assembly Shop)
Responsibilities
- Assembly Process Study on TCF / Vehicle Assembly line for commercial vehicles
- Product Study from the CAD Data received from Customer to plan the Assembly Process.
- Study Customer Process Documents and related formats to plan the Process Documents preparation and updation.
- Prepare and update Station wise Part List / Process BOM as per the PFD and MBOM
- Prepare and updation of Process Sheets as per Process Study on line / CAD Data with know-how for addition of Images from CAD or actual.
- To evaluate and recommend the process modification based on Digital Simulation.
- To know about the probable failures in line, in station or in next line, next station, next customer or on the field. So to avoid the failure effect give suggestions on product design and process design (PFMEA)
- Creation of Operation process sheet in Siemens - ToolCenter or any other similar software.
QualificationsDiploma or Bachelors or in Mechanical / Production / Automobile Engineering.
Essential skills- Worked with Automotive OEM in Manufacturing Engineering Department related to Commercial vehicles
- Konwledge of Creation of Operation process sheet in Siemens - ToolCenter or any other similar software.
- Knowledge of Vehicle commodities & its assembly equipment.
- Knowledge in Cycle time calculation, Layout study and Layout Planning for assembly shop.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate at all levels and able to manage task independently.
- Knowledge of Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems. Desired skills
Experience in Manufacturing Engineering domain from Automotive industry (Commercial Vehicles) with very good understanding of Vehicle assembly processes & Assembly Equipment.
Very good knowledge of English, spoken and written.
Experience2-5 Years of hands on Experience in Assembly shop Process Planning Knowledge (Assembly process and systems of automotive domain in Commercial Vehicle.)
