Desired Candidate Profile
Lead Migration Engineer - AWSJob Descriptiion :
Exp : 3 to 7 years
Analyst needs Strong understanding across AWS Infrastructure components (server, storage, network, data, and applications) to deliver end to end Cloud Infrastructure engagements that includes assessment and migrations.
Good experience in AWS lift and shift migrations with various source environment like VMware, Hyper-V, Physical servers and Other Clouds- Handled database migrations from SQL Server 2005 to later versions or Oracle migrations.
Understanding Fundamentals of firewalls and ports- Hands on experience in cloud network and Cloud Exchange Framework- Strong Knowledge in Discovery, Assessment, Migration - Working experience to Migration tools MAP, Steal Audit, Carbonite Move, App zero etc-
Excellent Knowledge in AWS IAAS service and components AWS VM, Storage, Networking, Database.-
Good knowledge in Datacenter services - Infrastructure Architecture including Active Directory, Backup Networking, Compute, Capacity Planning- Should have experience in Transitioning Projects to cloud.-
Experience in handling Critical Migration projects and handling Migration Team- Scripting & Automation: any scripting language (Perl, Powershell, Python).- Skills on Web Application Firewall and DDoS-
Candidate should have good communication Skills.-
Good Analytical skills to convert the On premises architecture to AWS suitable architecture (modernized architecture)..-
Strong written & Verbal communication skills to explain and convince Enterprise Customers.
Should have extensive experience in Cloud based applications using AWS
Design, develop and architect application platforms on AWS
Perform application assessments for cloud fitment
Perform migrations to AWS environment(s)- applications, database, etc.
Configure Virtual Machines using AWS Load balancer for Scalability
Deployment, provisioning and life cycle management of AWS services such as AWS VMs, Storage, Network, SQL database, Website, Network etc.
deliverables for Automation work-stream in terms of creating repeatable
Required to work in a team closely with project delivery / operations, suppliers /partners and functional teams (Architecture, Information rights management (IRM), etc.) to deliver tangible outcomes best practices / processes, advising new technology trends and developing reusable automation artefacts for consumerization.
