- Collaborate with design, engineering, and sourcing teams to prepare and finalize prototype BOMs
- Validate part numbers, quantities, descriptions, and sourcing data.
- Coordinate with suppliers and procurement teams for part availability, lead times, and alternatives.
- Track BOM revisions and maintain version control throughout the prototype development lifecycle.
- Support engineering change orders (ECOs) and BOM updates as designs evolve.Work with Work with PLM systems to input and manage BOM data
- Ensure alignment of prototype BOMs with cost targets, build schedules, and with manufacturing team
- Assist in resolving part discrepancies or supply issues during prototype builds
Qualifications
B.E. / Diploma Mech or Automobile
Essential skillsSound knowledge in automotive process , vehicle build knowledge and BIW and assembly experience, CATIA, NPDM experience
Desired skillsGood communication, effective problem solving , negotiation
Experience3-7 years
