Job Description
Cloud Engineer Experience: 4+ Years
Mode of Hire : Fulltime
Required Skills:
- Lead and execute mass migration of physical and virtual servers (Windows/Linux) from on-premises data centers to Azure.
- Experience with hybrid cloud environments and multi-cloud architectures.
- Design and implement end-to-end data solutions (storage,integration, processing,visualization) in Azure.
- Assess existing on-premises infrastructure and applications to determine cloud readiness.
- Develop migration plans and strategies based on business requirements.
- Design and implement migration strategies for moving workloads, servers, databases, and applications to Azure.
- Perform cloud migrations using tools such as Azure Migrate, Azure Site Recovery,Azure ARC, Azure Database Migration Service, and others.
- Create and manage migration waves, dependency mapping, scheduling, cutover plans, and rollback strategies.
- Configure and optimize Azure services such as Virtual Machines, Storage Accounts, Networking (VNETs, NSGs, VPNs), Azure AD,DNS and Monitoring tools.
- Collaborate with enterprise architect,cross-functional teams including network engineers, developers, and security teams to ensure smooth migration and integrations.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure IaaS and PaaS.
- Strong experience with Windows and Linux server environments.
- Familiarity with virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Proficiency with automation tools such as Python,PowerShell, Azure CLI, ARM templates and Terraform.
- Experience with VMware Cloud Administration.
- Experience in all the SKUs for virtual macines and tiers for storage accounts.
- Troubleshoot complex migration issues and implement remediation plans efficiently.
- Maintain detailed documentation of migration processes, architectures, and standards.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Pay Range: $400,000 - $600,000 per hour
