We are currently seeking a Senior Automation Platform Engineer to join our team in Bangalore, Karntaka (IN-KA), India (IN). Job SummaryThe Senior Automation Platform QA Engineer is responsible for ensuring the highest quality, reliability, and performance of the financial firm''s proprietary enterprise automation ecosystem. This role designs and implements comprehensive testing strategies for the platform''s core components, APIs, and integrations.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and automation script
Design and implement end-to-end automated testing frameworks (e.g., integration tests, API tests, performance tests).
Identify, document, and track software defects and work with development teams for resolution.
Perform regression testing, performance testing, and scalability testing of the automation platform.
Ensure that new features and integrations meet defined quality standards and functional requirements.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
Collaborate closely with developers, architects, and product owners throughout the development lifecycle.
Mentor junior QA engineers and advocate for quality-driven development practices.
Required Qualifications
Experience6-8 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing, with at least 3 years focused on testing complex automation platforms, backend services, or enterprise-level software.
Technical Skills:

Strong experience in designing and implementing automated test suites using relevant tools (e.g., Pytest, Selenium, Postman, JMeter). Proficiency in a scripting language (e.g., Python) for test automation. Understanding of RESTful APIs, databases, and microservices architecture. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git). Knowledge of private cloud/virtualization concepts.
EducationBachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Relevant QA certifications (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus.
Soft Skills:

Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills. Strong problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. A strong advocate for quality and best practices.
