Job Description
- Perform routine and preventive electrical maintenance of machinery, control panels, motors, lighting systems, and other electrical equipment.
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults in industrial equipment and systems.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and company protocols.
- Support in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and electrical systems.
- Maintain proper documentation of maintenance activities, daily checklists, and breakdown reports.
- Coordinate with production and other departments to minimize downtime.
- Monitor and maintain electrical inventory, tools, and spare parts.
- Follow all EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) guidelines and ensure safe working practices at all times.
- Respond promptly to breakdown calls and assist in emergency repairs.
- Education:
- ITI in Electrician Trade (recognized institute)
- Experience:
- 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience in electrical maintenance in the chemical or process industry
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems and components
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and wiring diagrams
- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting motors, PLCs, panels, and control systems
- Good understanding of safety procedures in hazardous environments
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work in shifts and handle emergency maintenance tasks
