Tech Lead @ Tech Mahindra

Job Description

• Planning (Embedded Model):Design, build, and implement planning applications using SAP BPC Embedded on BW or S/4HANA
• Develop Aggregation Levels, Planning Functions, Planning Sequences, and Fox Formulas
• Model input ready queries and integrate Analysis for Office (AO) for end user planning interfaces
• Set up and maintain characteristics relationships, data slices, and locking mechanisms
• Perform cost center, profit center, sales, HR, and Capex planning
• Enable top down and bottom up planning, scenario simulations, and driver based forecasting
• Consolidation:Support consolidation processes using Embedded BPC logic or integration with Group Reporting
• Implement intercompany eliminations, ownership calculations, and minority interest using business rules or custom planning functions
• Create consolidated reports for financial statements, management reports, and ad hoc analysis
• Technical Development & Integration:Work on BW modeling, including CompositeProviders, Advanced DSO (ADSO), and Open ODS Views
• Develop and optimize ABAP based planning functions and custom FOX logic
• Integrate actual data from SAP S/4HANA or ECC into planning models
• Manage master data and transaction data flows between systems (BW S/4HANA)
• Reporting & Analysis:Develop financial and management reports using Analysis for Office (AO) and Embedded Queries
• Deliver dynamic dashboards and variance analysis reports
• Ensure secure and scalable reporting using authorizations and variable definitions
• Support & Governance:Provide day to day support for planning and consolidation applications
• Handle transport management, performance tuning, and issue resolution
• Collaborate with finance users to improve planning accuracy and data quality
• Document technical and functional specifications
