Job Description

• Directs, leads, and manages the Pune Technology team engaged with multiple business verticals
• Lead and oversee the site s software and firmware development teams, encouraging a culture of innovation and delivery
• Build and mentor a high-performance team of AI/ML professionals in alignment with Organization long-term plans
• Interact with Technology Leadership across Emerson to develop short term and long-term strategic plan.
• Contribute to the increase in the department s value delivery through a combination of processes, personnel, and automation that drives improved productivity in the development of our products
• Participate in the definition of technical vision, strategy and roadmap, then implement them
• Ensure high performance and accountability through leading a multi-functional team comprising software development managers and ART leadership
• Cultivate an innovative environment that encourages openness, collaboration and professional growth
• Work with other department leaders to optimize team and cross-site performance
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and define outstanding processes
• Stay knowledgeable about tools, methods, relevant trends and technologies for software and firmware development
• Attract, develop and retain qualified and skilled staff and workforce. Mentor, coach, appraise employees and build a strong leadership team
