Presales GCP Cloud Solution Architect (with AWS is a plus)
Looking for Presales GCP Cloud Solution Architect (with AWS)
- Experience: 10 plus years of experience
- Locations: Hybrid Any Accion offices in India pref (Bangalore /Pune/Mumbai)
What we expect from you for this role:
- To lead the practice as the technical authority and subject matter expert
- To lead the innovation aligning with new technology trends and create frameworks, reusable assets, accelerators, and solution blueprints that differentiate our offerings.
- Actively engage in client discussions, lead executive-level presentations, and guide customers through roadmaps, solution architecture, and strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with presales and sales teams to shape winning proposals and go-to-market offerings.
Must-have experience
10+ years in cloud engineering/architecture; 5+ years GCP and AWS at enterprise scale (regulated + 247).
You need to be an expert in Cloud (GCP/AWS) , Led at least 3 programs >$2M TCV covering migration + modernization and run-ops.
Deep technical expertise
Required skills and experience:
- Cloud Architecture: multi-account/orgs, network segmentation, hybrid, landing zones (GCP Landing Zone/ AWS Control Tower).
- Security: IAM/AAD/OAuth, KMS/Cloud KMS, BYOK/HSM, Secrets Mgmt, GuardDuty/Security Hub, Cloud Armor/WAF, zero trust, CIS/NIST.
- Cloud-native and PaaS services: Kubernetes (EKS/GKE), ECS/Cloud Run, serverless (Lambda/Cloud Functions), API Gateway/Apigee, eventing (SNS/SQS, Pub/Sub).
- Platform Engineering, DevOps & IaC: CI/CD (GitHub Actions/GitLab/Code*), Terraform/Pulumi, ArgoCD/Flux, policy-as-code (OPA).
- Cloud Ops & SRE: SLI/SLO/error budgets, observability (OpenTelemetry, Prometheus/Grafana, Datadog/New Relic/Dynatrace), runbooks.
- FinOps & cost controls: tags/hierarchies, budgets/alerts, rightsizing, commitment planning; show prior % savings.
- NOC/SOC setup: event/incident pipelines, SIEM (Splunk, Chronicle/Sentinel), playbooks + ServiceNow ITSM/ITOM integration.
- DR/Resilience: multi-region patterns, backup/restore, chaos testing, automated failover.
Certifications (strongly preferred)
GCP Professional Cloud Architect (and/or DevOps Engineer).
CKA/CKAD, Terraform Associate, FinOps Certified Practitioner. ITIL-F or CISSP a plus
Please note these are Presales and Practice building roles and not just delivery. Following soft skills are must for these roles -
- Executive-ready communication, storytelling & whiteboarding;
- Build repeatable accelerators and internal enablement content.
- Working with existing clients account team and sales team to create GTM and help build sales pipeline
- Sharp proposal/SOW writing.
- Strong competitive positioning and objection handling
