As an Engineering Manager on the FinTech Data Engineering team, you will:
Lead a high-performing engineering team in designing, implementing, and scaling data solutions that drive analytics, reporting, and business insights.
Provide technical leadership in architecting, building, testing, releasing, and monitoring data pipelines, models, and workflows
Work closely with product managers, data scientists, ML engineers, and other stakeholders to define the vision and roadmap for core services analytics and data products.
Identify strategically important problems, inefficiencies, or opportunities for meaningful improvement, and drive alignment across teams to deliver high-impact solutions.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement and engineering excellence, including best practices in coding, design, documentation, testing, monitoring, and deployment of next-generation fintech systems.
Serve as a role model by demonstrating good judgment, responsibility, and accountability; guide the team in effective project planning, execution, and prioritization.
Mentor and develop engineers, fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance culture, while helping teams navigate differences of opinion and reach consensus effectively.
Actively identify and solve engineering and business challenges with autonomy, ensuring delivery of high-quality, scalable, and reliable data products on time and within scope.
Basic Qualifications ----
Proven experience as a Software Engineering Manager, leading high-performing teams in designing, building, and delivering critical data solutions at scale.
Extensive experience managing and mentoring engineers, fostering a collaborative and inclusive team culture.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to align diverse stakeholders and drive adoption of data solutions.
Demonstrated ability to work with product management and business partners to define vision, roadmap, and delivery priorities for analytics, reporting, and data platforms.
Deep technical expertise in distributed data systems, including ETL, logging, storage, data quality, and monitoring.
Proven track record of delivering high-quality data products on time and within scope, while driving engineering best practices across the team.
Passionate about coaching and developing engineers, creating an environment that fosters learning, accountability, and innovation.
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
