Job Description
Objective Of This Role: (Brief description of the role, why are we hiring, and what will person in this role do)
- Responsible for ISMS implementation and monitoring of information security systems.
- Responsible for the System, Network and other Logical Security Infrastructure at Chennai Bureau.
- Good Understanding of Physical security Infrastructure & support Chennai Bureau Physical Security.
- Responsible for Internal, External audits on Physical and Information security.
- Leading a team of security staff (Internal and External) and personnel to maximize performance.
- Responsible to support, travel, movement to different site etc. to other sites of the Organization, whenever required.
Tasks & Responsibilities: (Major task and role person will have to perform list all the relevant points)
- To manage Information security systems & Physical security as per PCI, NPCI & ISO 27001 standards.
- To create, update, and enforce required Security policies, standards, procedures as per the required changes to align with Global security standards, customer agreements.
- Support in ensuing the compliance with relevant laws and regulations & frameworks (PCI, GSMA, NPCI, ISO27001)
- Knowledge in conducting periodic Risk assessment and effective Internal audit plan.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of Infosec systems (firewalls, SIEM, endpoint protection etc.) and timely conduct various periodic assessments on ISMS systems within the scope as per compliance / business requirements Support, update and provide Training and awareness sessions as per requirements.
- Responsible for coordinating for timely Risk based activities (VAPT etc.), assessing and updating Risks, Incidents and Change Management
- Preparation of periodic reports for security Operations, circulating audit reports, and follow-up for closures. Ensure implementation of effective security controls following policies, minimizing risks, threats etc., and support reception Security team , if required
- Review, manage all operational management systems for security related activities and take necessary actions including preventive and corrective maintenance, and support for scheduled/unscheduled maintenance for security systems etc.
- Monitor network, systems, logs for any possible threats and recommended improvements.
- Implementation of safety and work environmental rules.
- Support internal teams to negotiate with security vendors, service providers and contractors, wherever required, and for smooth communication.
- Support, conduct as an in-charge of Emergency and disaster Management services.
Education & Trainings:
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field. Preferably an additional diploma in Business Administration (MBA), IT & Security related certification (like ISO27001, CCNA, CEH etc.) will be an added advantage.
Technical know-how: (Mention the technology on which person must be experienced)
- Mandatory:
- ISO27001 or other relevant Information security training, certification.
- Strong understanding of security protocols, network architecture, and security technologies.
- Experience in performing IT, Security Audits, VAPT activities etc.
- Good to know:
- Experience with risk management and compliance frameworks.
- Knowledge on IT related implementation and technologies including SIEM, security-based tools

- Team worker and think strategically
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Experience: (in yrs.)
- Total Total: 6 - 10 years' experience in information security, at least 2-3 years in lead, management role
- Relevant: 5+ Years
