About the Role :-
Roles and Responsibilities :-
- Need candidates with excellent communication skills
- Willing to work in night shifts - support US region
The job requires the candidate to work on Python primarily, with secondary experience in PHP:
- Design and implement applications/sites, with a primary focus on Python
- Lead and mentor the technical team for all maintenance and new site tasks
- Proactively address all technical issues and coordinate with India and UK teams
- Participate in the agile development process to ensure project deliverables are met on time and with high quality
- Manage and deliver projects from conceptualization and visualization to technology mapping and final execution
- Monitor development activities and report project progress
- Understand specification documents and perform coding as per the requirements and standards
- Write and optimize moderate to complex SQL queries
- Should be able to run complex queries and handle data-intensive operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless integration and performance
- Must be able to work in US hours to coordinate with the team effectively and manage deadlines
Skills
- Primary: Expert in Python, including libraries related to data analytics (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, Matplotlib, etc.)
- Secondary: Expert in PHP and WordPress for development tasks
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, Ajax, jQuery, XML, XHTML, HTML5, CSS
- Experience working with third-party web services and APIs
- Good knowledge of SQL and MySQL
- Should be able to create, execute, and optimize complex queries
- Strong knowledge of Shell Programming for automation and scripting
- Experience with RabbitMQ and Zookeeper for message queuing and distributed systems
- Knowledge of Kubernetes for container orchestration and deployment
- Good communication skills verbal and written, for effective collaboration with global teams
- Ability to work in US hours
Desired Candidate Profile
- Masters Degree (B.Tech/MCA)
- 911 years of experience, with strong expertise in Python development and experience with PHP
- Strong programming and debugging skills
- Good aptitude and problem-solving capabilities
- Must have contributed to code review processes
- Good communication skills for coordinating across geographically distributed teams
- Strong team player with leadership qualities
- Availability to work in US hours
Good to Have
- Exposure to LLM (Large Language Models) and Generative AI tools
- Understanding of cloud and cloud-native technologies
- Experience with containerized applications and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of distributed systems and message brokers (RabbitMQ, Zookeeper)
