Designation /Role : AS 400 Developer

Location: Mumbai-Powai

We are seeking a skilled AS400/iSeries Developer to support and enhance legacy systems within our enterprise insurance domain. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with RPGLE, CL programming, DB2/400, and be proficient with key AS400 tools such as DFU, RLU, SDA, and Arcad. You will play a critical role in maintaining system performance, delivering enhancements, and ensuring data integrity across platforms.



Requirements
Technical Skills:
  • 3 - 6years of hands-on experience as AS 400
Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and support applications on the AS400/iSeries platform.

  • Write and optimize programs using RPG IV, RPGLE, SQLRPGLE, and CL/400.

  • Manage DB2/400 database operations, queries, and stored procedures.

  • Utilize tools like DFU, RLU, SDA, QUERY/400, Arcad, and others for application and report development.

  • Troubleshoot system issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams for resolution.

  • Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and performance tuning.

  • Work with MQ, RDI, and other integration tools as needed.

Required Skills:

  • Strong expertise in AS400, RPGLE, CLLE, SQLRPGLE.

  • Proficiency in DB2/400 and database query tools.

  • Experience with Arcad, DFU, RLU, SDA, and QUERY/400.

  • Familiarity with MQ or RDI is a plus.

  • Solid understanding of the insurance domain or legacy system workflows is preferred.
