Job Description
- As an SRE Devops Architect at ValueLabs, you will play a crucial role in deploying, managing, optimizing, and troubleshooting large-scale Kubernetes clusters in multi-cloud (AWS, GCP) and hybrid environments (OpenStack, VMware vSphere). Your responsibilities will involve implementing GitOps workflows using ArgoCD for declarative Kubernetes deployments and continuous synchronization. You will also focus on securing the container runtime with pod security admission controls, network policies, and CIS benchmark enforcement. Additionally, you will be responsible for implementing cluster autoscaling and resource management strategies with tools such as Karpenter. Your expertise will be required in architecting, implementing, and managing infrastructure in multi-cloud (AWS, GCP) and hybrid environments following security-by-design principles. You will implement cloud security posture management (CSPM) using AWS Security Hub and GCP Security Command Center while optimizing cloud resource usage leveraging AWS Cost Explorer, Savings Plans, and similar tools on other cloud providers. In the realm of monitoring, observability, and reliability, you will develop and maintain comprehensive solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Datadog, or similar tools. Your role will involve implementing runtime security monitoring using Falco and AWS GuardDuty for anomaly detection. Root cause analysis (RCA) and proactive improvements to maximize system uptime, reliability, and performance will also be essential aspects. As part of CI/CD Pipelines and Automation, you will design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using tools like ArgoCD, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or Tekton. Integration of security scanning (SAST/DAST) and artifact signing (cosign/sigstore) into deployment workflows will be a key focus. Promoting and implementing DevSecOps best practices across teams to automate testing, security scanning, and deployments will also be part of your responsibilities. Your role will also involve implementing infrastructure entitlement management through automated IAM policy reviews and least-privilege enforcement. Secure management of secrets using tools like Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, or similar tools with automated rotation policies will be crucial. Ensuring adherence to compliance standards (SOC2, FedRAMP) and regulatory requirements through policy-as-code (OPA/Rego) will also be part of your duties. Efficient cost optimization and governance will be another critical area of focus. Implementing and enforcing governance policies and frameworks to optimize infrastructure usage, reduce costs, and enhance operational efficiency will be key responsibilities. Regular review and optimization of cloud expenditure, performance, and scaling strategies will be essential for this role. Collaboration and effective communication are paramount in this role. You will collaborate closely with architects, developers, QA, product teams, and management stakeholders. Clear communication of complex infrastructure concepts and strategies to diverse stakeholders will be crucial for successful outcomes.,
