Job Title: Mechanical Specialist Quality Control (Remote, Full-time)

Location: Remote (Work from Home)
Job Description:
Seeking a detail-oriented Mechanical Specialist to review mechanical drawings (HVAC, plumbing, ductwork) for North American projects. Ensure accuracy, completeness, and coordination with other disciplines before permitting and construction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review mechanical drawings for errors and inconsistencies.
- Cross-check drawings with architectural, structural, and electrical plans for conflicts.
- Document constructability issues with clear comments.
- Support quality control checklist development.
- Collaborate with product teams to improve AI features based on QA feedback.
Requirements:
- Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering or related (Masters preferred).
- 5+ years in mechanical design review or quality control for large projects.
- Strong skills interpreting mechanical drawings and construction processes.
- Detail-oriented with analytical skills.
- Proficient in Bluebeam; mechanical design software a plus.
- Strong written communication and remote teamwork skills.
Preferred:
- Experience in peer-review roles for mechanical systems.
- Familiarity with RFIs/change orders in HVAC/plumbing.
- Knowledge of North American building codes.
- Ability to multitask independently and collaborate effectively
