Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Developer to build and optimize a Patient Management System. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Sitecore, .NET 6/8 Web API, and SQL Server, with a strong background in designing scalable, secure, and efficient solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop RESTful APIs for patient management (CRUD operations, advanced search, reporting).
- Implement business logic with robust validation (e.g., DOB validation, unique email/phone).
- Apply dependency injection and Repository + Service patterns.
- Integrate global exception handling middleware and request model validation (Fluent Validation or custom attributes).
- Develop and maintain unit tests (xUnit/NUnit + Moq).
- Secure APIs using JWT authentication.
- Design normalized SQL schemas with proper indexing, constraints, and stored procedures.
- Write optimized SQL queries for reporting (e.g., patients diagnosed in last 6 months, top cities, patients with multiple conditions).
- Analyze execution plans and suggest indexing strategies.
- Document steps to create a centralized Patient Management Page in Sitecore (renderings, templates, placeholders, themes, datasource restrictions).
- Enable admin users to manage patients via backend APIs.
Required Skills:
- 5 to 10 years of experience in .NET (Core/6/8), Web API development, and SQL Server.
- Strong Sitecore CMS experience (renderings, templates, placeholders, themes).
- Expertise in RESTful API design, business logic implementation, and validation.
- Proficient in SQL schema design, query optimization, and stored procedures.
- Experience with JWT authentication and unit testing frameworks.
- Familiarity with SOLID principles, clean code, and modular architecture.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with GitHub, code reviews, and commit hygiene.
- Exposure to healthcare domain or patient management systems is a plus.
Education:
- BE/BTech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
