Our Multi-modal Manufacturing Facility (MMF) in Pune plays a crucial role in manufacturing key aerospace components, supporting not only Indias defense and commercial sectors but also global aviation supply chains. Our relationships with Indian suppliers, combined with our world-class local facilities and global reach, continue to shape Indias aerospace ecosystem.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Responsible to work with Commodity Buyer for assigned list of Suppliers.
- 100% responsible for Material fulfillment for assigned Commodity with overall ownership of material ordering, availability, and scheduling targeting 2-week inventory levels, at a minimum.
Be responsible for raw material scheduling, procurement follow up and expediting. - Coordinate with Buyer for plotting the Material visibility to plot the FG unit readiness.
- Analyze and track Supplier promise date accuracy and develop reports to ensure Supplier promise date accuracy
Identify and react to material plans that do not meet customer requirements. - Partner closely with suppliers focusing on: Packaging needs, min/max planning. PCNs, as they relate to old/existing parts, materials replenishment planning
Ideal Candidate :
Candidate with good exposure in Purchasing and Material Management
Required Qualification:
- Diploma (Mechanical/Electrical) from a reputed college /university
- Person should be pursuing the BE Degree
- 1-3 years of experience in Purchasing and Material Management
Preferred Qualification:
- Familiarity with Six Sigma/Problem Solving tools
