Job Description
- As a skilled QA Automation Engineer, your role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts for web and mobile applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies and plans, perform various types of testing including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing. Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying, recording, and tracking bugs, issues, and test results in a defect tracking system. It will be your responsibility to develop and maintain automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines, leveraging AWS services for testing, deployment, and performance optimization. Providing test reports and metrics to stakeholders and ensuring quality across multiple releases and environments will also be part of your key responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies and plans. - Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing. - Identify, record, and track bugs, issues, and test results in a defect tracking system. - Develop and maintain automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines. - Leverage AWS services for testing, deployment, and performance optimization. - Provide test reports and metrics to stakeholders. - Ensure quality across multiple releases and environments. Qualifications Required: - 5-8 years of experience in QA Automation. - Strong hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar. - Solid programming skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript. - Experience with API testing tools like Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI. - Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.). - Knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudFormation, etc.) and their use in testing. - Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
