Job Description
Role & responsibilities
Experience required: 5+ years in IT Networks and Firewall
Job Responsibilities:- Should be able to manage Network Operations independently consisting Routers / L2 & L3switches / firewall / Internet VPN / ISDN
- Analysis and troubleshooting of LAN / WAN / Internet issues and recommending probablesolutions along with impact analysis.
-Through Knowledge of Cloud setup from network perspective.
- Through knowledge of network protocols and multicast network
- Analysis and troubleshoot of incidents and escalation of events.
- Hands on experience in Cisco and Huawei routers and firewall
- Hands on experience on Cisco, Juniper, Huawei and dell switches.
- Preparation and review of various network reports
- Understanding of ITIL process- Regular interaction with end users/Members and senior management- Responsible for day to day smooth operations of the Network infrastructure
- Network diagram updation (PPT/Visio)
- Network monitoring tool (Solarwinds / IT360 / Manage Engine)
- Inventory management- Change management
Skill Set Required:- Should have 5+ years of experience with minimum CCNP certification.
- Should have hands-on experience of below protocols and features:OSI Layers, IPV4 (Subnetting), Static routing, OSPF, BGP, PPP, TCP/UDP, STP, VPC, Fabricpath, VDC, Portchannel, Port security, Port Span, Policy based routing, QOS, Multicasting, IGMP, PIM dense mode, PIM Sparse Mode, PIM SSM, Tacacs, Radius, HSRP/VRRP/GLBP, IPSLA, GRE Tunnel, IP SEC tunnel, Wireless, SNMP, Access control list
- Should have worked on below products:- Cisco ISR & ASR Router (1002X, 9010, 4000, 2900, 800)
- Cisco (Nexus & Catalyst), juniper and dell L2 and L3 Switches
- Cisco Access Points (autonomous and controller based)
- Cisco ACS & ISE- Should have hands on WAN technology: P2P, STM, ISDN.
- Should have knowledge on WAN technology: MPLS, VPN- Should have worked with network monitoring tool: Solarwinds, Wireshark
Qualifications
Education: B.E./B.tech (preferred)Certification: CCNP
