Job Title: Server Specialist
Role Overview The position focuses on combines sales expertise with strong technical knowledge, requiring the ability to understand client IT infrastructure needs and propose the right server configurations. The role sits at the intersection of technology consulting and business development.
Key Responsibilities: Drive sales of HP, Dell, and Cisco servers to enterprise clients across industries. Demonstrate detailed technical knowledge of server models and configurations. Engage with customers to understand IT infrastructure requirements and propose suitable server configurations. Work closely with pre-sales and technical engineers to design solutions. Prepare quotations, proposals, and technical documentation for clients. Build strong relationships with enterprise clients, OEMs (HP, Dell, Cisco), and distributors. Stay updated on new server technologies, firmware updates, and competitive landscape. Meet and exceed sales targets while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Required Technical Knowledge: Having knowledge of HP, Dell, Lenovo and Cisco models, configuration, expansion and compatibility. Skills & Competencies: Strong sales and client engagement skills. In-depth technical knowledge of enterprise servers (HP/Dell/Cisco). Ability to explain technical specifications in business terms to decision-makers. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Strong problem-solving and consultative selling approach.
