Job Description

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional requirements and design documents.
- Good knowledge of SOAP & Restful APIs.
- Basic knowledge of security testing.
- Experience to work with IT Industries.
- Participate in requirement analysis and provide feedback on testability and potential testing challenges.
- Execute test cases and document test results for various types of testing (functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing).
- Report and track defects using defect tracking tools, following the lifecycle from identification to resolution.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and other stakeholders, to ensure thorough testing and quality assurance.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives in an Agile environment.
- Review/testing process and propose improvements for increasing testing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Participate in the evaluation and implementation of new testing tools and methodologies.
- Create and maintain documentation for testing processes, standards, and testing results.
- Prepare test summary reports to present to stakeholders.
- Mentor and train junior testers and new team members on testing best practices and methodologies.
Primary Skills:
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Proficiency in manual testing techniques and tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, or similar).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with SQL for database testing.
- Hands on Mobile testing (Android and IOS)
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Good knowledge of SOAP and Restful APIs.
- Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in manual testing of software applications.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for quality assurance.
- Programming Language Java or other .
Secondary Skills:
- Experience with automation testing tools is a plus.
Knowledge of performance and security testing is beneficial
