Hardware Engineer @ Quest Global

Job Description

• Good Knowledge in using and setting up of different test equipments. 
• Knowledge of product validation and verification of hardware in field or lab environment. 
• Testing rack assembly and ITA panels, Arinc cables & BOB. 
• Knowledge of insulation testing cables. 
• Cables harness & PCB Soldering and debugging. 
• Understanding and reading drawings, schematics, blueprints, technical manuals and instructions. 
• Good Knowledge in using different types of crimping tools (DMC, ZIF, VPC, Molex and general tools etc). 
• Special skill for assembling RF connector cables and chips, micro controller & DSP soldering. 
• Analyzing and Debugging test defects in a timely fashion. 
• Circuit analyzing and debugging of different products (Assembled PCB Debugging /Component level debugging /Process level Debugging/PCB level debugging and Soldering level Debugging). 
• Analyzing and finding cause of defect and discussing with QC team and reducing the rejection boards ratio. 
• Design and implement test tools for review and verification processes. 
• Vendor co-ordination and issuing the work permit & explaining the drawing. 
• Procurement of components and maintaining the Lab consumables and inventory.
• Knowledge of Kaizen, ESDs, Lab 5s activities
• Knowledge of MOC Handling, Hardware Testing & Cable harness.
• Up keeping the Lab with Safe environment and maintaining ESD.
