- Role Overview: As a Software Tester at our company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the usability and performance of our software. Your responsibilities will include designing and executing test cases, identifying and reporting bugs, collaborating with development teams, and providing detailed feedback on test outcomes. Your expertise in software testing methodologies and strong attention to detail will contribute to delivering high-quality software to our clients. Key Responsibilities: - Design and execute test cases to evaluate software performance, functionality, and usability. - Identify, document, and report bugs, errors, and inconsistencies in software. - Collaborate with development and design teams to resolve software issues. - Analyze test results and provide detailed feedback and recommendations. - Ensure test environments are prepared and configured correctly. - Create and maintain documentation for test plans, test cases, and test scripts. - Conduct regression testing to ensure previously fixed issues do not recur. - Stay updated on emerging trends, tools, and best practices in software testing and quality assurance. - Participate in product requirement discussions to understand client needs and translate them into test objectives. Qualification Required: - Proven 1+ years of experience as a Software Tester. - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, test design, and test execution. - Familiarity with software development processes, including Agile methodologies. - Proficiency in using testing tools and software (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, Appium). - Knowledge of programming languages and scripting (e.g., Python, Java, or similar) is a plus. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong attention to detail and ability to identify subtle software issues. - Good communication skills to effectively convey test results and recommendations. - Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. - Relevant certifications such as ISTQB, CSTE, or equivalent are a plus.
