Job Description
- Define and implement Application Security policies and standards, with hands-on involvement in technical decision-making and tool integration.
- Lead the adoption of Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) practices, including secure coding, threat modeling, and developer enablement.
- Oversee and optimize the use of DAST, SAST, and other AppSec tools for vulnerability detection and remediation.
- Collaborate directly with engineering teams to review code, assess architectures, and guide secure design decisions.
- Write and refine technical guidelines and documentation, ensuring clarity and relevance across diverse technologies and products.
- Partner with global teams to drive alignment, share best practices, and elevate security awareness across the organization.
- Proven experience in technical leadership roles within Application Security, preferably in large-scale, global tech environments.
- Hands-on expertise in secure coding, vulnerability management, and AppSec tooling (DAST, SAST, IAST, etc).
- Strong understanding of software architecture and development processes.
- Excellent communication skills able to translate complex technical concepts into actionable guidance.
- Experience working with distributed global teams and influencing across functions
- Use your influence, leadership skills, and propensity for delivering strategy to positively impact the outcomes for a large customer base for a global leader.
- You will be able to use your outstanding customer relationship building skills to shine on a large scale.
