Job Description
Role & responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end B2B collections for US clients/accounts.
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices, ensuring timely collection and resolution of overdue payments.
- Perform cash application activities including matching incoming payments with invoices in SAP.
- Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies, short payments, and disputes in coordination with internal teams and clients.
- Conduct account reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness of client accounts.
- Collaborate closely with sales, customer service, and finance teams to facilitate dispute resolution and account clearing.
- Generate and analyze aging reports, and track collection KPIs.
- Maintain accurate records of customer communication and collection activities.
Preferred candidate profile
- 2-6 years of experience in B2B collections, cash application, and dispute management.
- Strong knowledge of SAP ERP for cash application and reconciliation processes.
- Familiarity with US accounting standards and collections practices.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to work in US shift timings.
- Immediate joiners or those with a notice period of 30 days or less.
- Prior experience in shared services, global finance operations, or a multinational environment is a plus.
- Proven track record of improving DSO and reducing overdue aging.
