Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks and scripts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers, QA analysts) to understand requirements and define test strategies.
- Automate functional, regression, integration, and performance tests.
- Execute automated test suites, analyze results, and report defects with detailed documentation.
- Continuously improve test automation processes, frameworks, and best practices.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for faster and reliable releases.
- Monitor test execution, debug failures, and work with developers to resolve issues.
- Maintain proper test documentation and contribute to QA knowledge sharing.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 25 years of experience in test automation and QA engineering.
- Strong programming skills in at least one language (Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript).
- Hands-on experience with automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, etc.).
- Good understanding of software testing principles (functional, regression, performance, API, UI).
- Experience with API automation (Postman, RestAssured, Karate, etc.).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.).
- Knowledge of version control systems (Git).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in testing cloud-based applications (AWS).
- Knowledge of BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow).
- Exposure to performance testing tools (JMeter).
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
