Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer with deep expertise in containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), Python development, and Linux environments. The ideal candidate will contribute hands-on to complex software solutions, perform peer code reviews, and help drive engineering best practices. You will work independently on critical components while providing technical guidance and reviewing code for team members.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Contribution
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software components using Python in Linux environments.
- Build, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Develop automation scripts, microservices, and system integrations leveraging modern DevOps practices.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability in cloud or on-premises environments.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues across the stack.
Code Review & Quality Assurance
- Conduct thorough peer code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Champion clean code principles, maintainability, and testability in all deliverables.
- Help define and enforce team coding standards, review guidelines, and documentation practices.
Collaboration & Mentorship
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, QA, Product Management) to deliver robust solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and share expertise in containerization, cloud-native development, and Python programming.
- Participate in design discussions, architecture reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
Process & Continuous Improvement
- Contribute to continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and automation.
- Propose and implement improvements to development workflows, code quality, and operational reliability.
- Stay current with industry trends, tools, and technologies related to cloud infrastructure, containerization, and Python development.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering.
- Experience: 5+ years of hands-on software development experience, with a strong focus on Python and Linux.
- Containerization: Expert-level experience with Dockerbuilding, deploying, and troubleshooting containers.
- Orchestration: Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes (deployment, scaling, monitoring, troubleshooting). Exposure to tools such as Ansible and Molecule.
- Linux: Proficiency in Linux system programming, shell scripting, and OS-level debugging. Proven ability to perform detailed peer code reviews and provide actionable feedback.
- Version Control: Proficiency with Git and modern branching workflows.
- CI/CD: Experience with build, test, and deployment automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
Preferred Skills
- Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Helm).
- Exposure to monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Experience with automated testing frameworks.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals as applied to containers and distributed systems.
- Previous experience in a code reviewer or technical lead capacity.

We are looking for a Cloud Architect with strong expertise in designing, developing, and deploying scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud solutions on AWS. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience with AWS cloud services, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and software development best practices. This role involves working closely with development and operations teams to build cloud-native applications, optimize cloud infrastructure, and implement CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect & Design:
- Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure cloud solutions on AWS.
- Develop cloud architectures that align with business objectives and security best practices.
- Provide technical leadership in cloud adoption, migration, and optimization strategies.
- Cloud Infrastructure & Automation:
- Build and maintain cloud infrastructure using AWS services such as Lambda, ECS, S3, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, RDS, and Cognito.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS SAM, AWS CDK, or Terraform.

- Software Development & Deployment:

- 6 to 8 years of experience in cloud architecture, software development, or DevOps.

- Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS SAM, AWS CDK, or Terraform.
- Proficiency in server-side development with Python.

Qualifications:
