Role Overview:We are seeking a self-driven and experienced Java & Python Back-End Software Engineer with a solid foundation in enterprise-level development. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, takes initiative, and can solve problems independently without the need for constant supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable, secure RESTful APIs using Java, Python and Spring Boot.
- Write and optimize SQL queries using JDBC Template with Azure SQL or similar RDBMS.
- Develop and maintain unit tests; experience with TDD is an advantage.
- Work with message bus systems such as Kafka or Azure Service Bus.
- Apply Clean Code principles and ensure maintainable codebases.
- Tackle ADO tickets independently with smart, thoughtful solutions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
Required Skills:
- Good Java development experience in enterprise environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring Data, and RESTful API design.
- Expertise in relational databases (Azure SQL preferred).
- Proficiency in JDBC Template for data access.
- Experience with unit testing frameworks and test-driven development.
- Hands-on with Kafka or Azure Service Bus for asynchronous processing.
- Solid knowledge of Clean Code principles and software design patterns.
- Good understanding of Git, Linux/Unix environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Self-starter attitude able to work independently with minimal supervision.
