Senior Test Engineer @ Vlink

Job Description

• Perform detailed manual functional testing of web and mobile applications.
• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases and test scenarios based on business requirements.
• Perform manual API testing to validate request-response cycles, error handling, and data validation.
• Utilize Charles Proxy to monitor/mock and analyze network traffic between clients and servers.
• Work with ADB to debug and monitor mobile application behavior during testing.
• Report, track, and retest defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
• Ensure test cases are up to date with the latest product changes.
• Perform regression testing during each release cycle.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 4+ years of experience in Manual Testing of Web and Mobile Applications.
• Strong hands-on experience in Manual API Testing (Postman or equivalent tools).
• Good hands-on experience with Charles Proxy for network traffic inspection and debugging.
• Experience using ADB (Android Debug Bridge) for debugging mobile apps.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle.
• Good understanding of HTTP, RESTful APIs, and status codes.
• Experience in writing clear and concise test cases and defect reports.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in an Agile environment.
• Preferred (Nice-to-Have):Exposure to basic automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium).
• Experience in performance testing or security testing.
• Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git).
