Job Description
- Perform detailed manual functional testing of web and mobile applications.
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases and test scenarios based on business requirements.
- Perform manual API testing to validate request-response cycles, error handling, and data validation.
- Utilize Charles Proxy to monitor/mock and analyze network traffic between clients and servers.
- Work with ADB to debug and monitor mobile application behavior during testing.
- Report, track, and retest defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
- Ensure test cases are up to date with the latest product changes.
- Perform regression testing during each release cycle.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 4+ years of experience in Manual Testing of Web and Mobile Applications.
- Strong hands-on experience in Manual API Testing (Postman or equivalent tools).
- Good hands-on experience with Charles Proxy for network traffic inspection and debugging.
- Experience using ADB (Android Debug Bridge) for debugging mobile apps.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle.
- Good understanding of HTTP, RESTful APIs, and status codes.
- Experience in writing clear and concise test cases and defect reports.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in an Agile environment.
- Preferred (Nice-to-Have):Exposure to basic automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium).
- Experience in performance testing or security testing.
- Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git).
