As a Scala / Java Developer at Barclays, you will spearhead the evolution of the digital landscape by driving innovation and excellence. You will utilize cutting-edge technology to revolutionize digital offerings, ensuring unparalleled customer experiences. **Key Responsibilities:** - Skilled Scala and Java engineer with experience in designing and implementing end-to-end solutions. - Proficiency in JavaScript, Backbone JS. - Knowledge of design patterns, application security aspects, and experience in developing REST APIs using Spring Data REST and Spring BOOT Framework. - Experience with a CI/DevOps pipeline including git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, and conducting performance tests using Jmeter/JProfiler. - Self-motivated with the ability to overcome obstacles and self-teach new concepts. - Degree in Engineering or Computer Science or similar. **Qualifications Required:** - Skilled Scala and Java engineer with end-to-end solution design and implementation experience. - Proficiency in JavaScript, Backbone JS. - Knowledge of design patterns, application security aspects, and experience in developing REST APIs using Spring Data REST and Spring BOOT Framework. - Experience with CI/DevOps pipeline tools like git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, and performance testing using Jmeter/JProfiler. - Self-motivated individual with problem-solving skills and ability to learn new concepts. - Degree in Engineering or Computer Science or similar.,
