Job Description
- As a Software Engineer Specialist in Java Full Stack at FIS, you will be part of an innovative and committed team working on Chargeback & Fraud reporting management applications for Credit/Debit Card disputed transactions globally. **Role Overview:** You will be responsible for analyzing, designing, programming, debugging, and modifying software enhancements and new products. Your role will involve interacting with product managers and users to define system requirements, participating in software design meetings, writing technical specifications, coding, testing, and debugging applications. Additionally, you will be involved in documentation, training internal teams, and may be responsible for project planning and execution. **Key Responsibilities:** - Analyze, design, program, debug, and modify software enhancements and new products - Interact with product managers and users to define system requirements - Participate in software design meetings and analyze user needs - Write technical specifications and code using current programming languages and technologies - Complete documentation, procedures for installation and maintenance - Train internal Client Training, Client Relationship, and Sales teams - Develop or execute project plans, budget, and schedule - Document work and results **Qualifications Required:** - 12+ years of experience as a full stack Java development engineer - Hands-on experience in Core Java, Spring Boot, Spring framework, Hibernate, Angular, GIT, Jenkins - In-depth understanding of design patterns and their application - Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences In addition to the challenging role, FIS offers you a multifaceted job with a high degree of responsibility, a broad range of professional education and personal development opportunities, a competitive salary and benefits, and various career development tools and resources.
