About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic AI Product Analyst to support our product team by analyzing the competitive landscape, identifying emerging trends, and providing data-driven insights that shape our AI product strategy. This role involves deep market research, benchmarking, and translating findings into actionable recommendations for product development and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Market & Competitor Research
Identify and analyze existing AI companies, startups, and products in the market.
Evaluate their features, pricing models, target segments, and go-to-market strategies.
Track emerging technologies and innovations within the AI industry (e.g., GenAI, ML platforms, AI SaaS tools).
Feature Benchmarking & Gap Analysis
Conduct detailed comparisons of product functionalities, user experience, and integrations.
Identify feature gaps and opportunities to differentiate our product offerings.
Prepare structured competitor matrices and reports.
Pricing & Business Model Analysis
Assess pricing structures and monetization strategies of key competitors.
Provide recommendations on pricing optimization based on market positioning and value delivered.
Market Growth & Trend Analysis
Monitor industry reports, funding announcements, and adoption trends.
Provide regular insights into market dynamics, growth opportunities, and potential threats.
Support forecasting and strategic planning with data-driven insights.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Product Managers, Marketing, and Business Strategy teams to align research findings with product roadmaps.
Present insights in a clear and actionable manner to stakeholders.
Reporting & Documentation
Maintain up-to-date internal databases of competitors and market trends.
Create clear, concise reports and dashboards to support leadership decision-making.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Business, Data Science, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
24 years of experience in product analysis, market research, competitive intelligence, or related roles (preferably in tech / AI sectors).
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel/Sheets, market research tools, and data visualization platforms
Knowledge of AI / machine learning landscape and emerging technologies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to synthesize complex information into actionable recommendations.
Preferred Skills
Experience working in AI startups, SaaS companies, or innovation-focused environments.
Familiarity with tools like Crunchbase, SimilarWeb, CB Insights, or product intelligence platforms.
Basic understanding of AI technologies and product development processes.
