Job Description
- As a QA Automation Tester at the company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software products. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar. - Performing regression testing, functional testing, and end-to-end system testing. - Collaborating with developers and business analysts to clarify requirements and identify test cases. - Analyzing test results, reporting bugs, and working with the development team to resolve issues. - Developing and maintaining test documentation including test plans, test cases, and test data. - Integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.). - Contributing to improving testing efficiency and automation coverage. To excel in this role, you will need the following skills and qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Proven experience in QA automation testing, with at least 1 year of experience preferred. - Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Appium, JUnit/Test NG, or Cypress. - Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript. - Experience with defect tracking tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or similar. - Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies. - Familiarity with REST API testing using tools like Postman, Rest Assured. Additionally, the following qualifications are preferred: - Experience with performance testing, both manual and using Selenium. - Immediate joiners are preferred for this position.
