Job Description
- You will be joining Ionob Innovations, a growing technology company, as a Software Tester in the Quality Assurance team. As a Software Tester, your main responsibilities will include: - Executing manual test cases and clearly reporting defects. - Assisting in preparing test plans, scenarios, and documentation. - Collaborating with developers and product teams to ensure quality standards. - Performing functional, regression, and exploratory testing on applications. - Tracking and verifying bugs using testing/bug-tracking tools. To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills: - Basic understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). - Knowledge of manual testing concepts; exposure to automation tools (e.g., Selenium) is a plus. - Familiarity with bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Bugzilla) is desirable. - Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. - Good communication and teamwork abilities. For eligibility, you should have a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. Freshers are encouraged to apply, and basic programming knowledge (Java/Python preferred) is an added advantage.
