Job Description
- As a Quality Assurance Tester at our company, you will be responsible for performing initiatives related to the System Integration Testing (SIT) process. You will collaborate with technology project managers, UAT professionals, and users to design and implement appropriate scripts/plans for application testing strategies/approaches. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing and designing standards and procedures, ensuring adherence throughout the software development life cycle. - Ensuring consistency and quality of processes across the organization, exhibiting in-depth understanding of concepts and procedures within your own area. - Collaborating with local and global stakeholders like the development team, UAT team, etc., to ensure project stability and productivity. - Appropriately assessing risk when making business decisions, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets. Additionally, you will need to have the following qualifications: - 3+ years of relevant experience - Experience in programming/debugging for business applications - Working knowledge of industry practices and standards - Comprehensive knowledge of the specific business area for application testing - Consistently demonstrating clear and concise written and verbal communication Experience in the following areas is also expected: - Software testing lifecycle and methodologies such as System, Integration testing, Regression testing, Exploratory testing, Ad-hoc testing, etc., and their corresponding tools. - Proficiency in SQL - Setting up, maintaining, and performing test automation frameworks on multiple application platforms - Experience of integrating automation scripts with the CICD pipeline and working with CICD tools such as Bitbucket, Jenkins, Maven - Knowledge of programming languages such as Java - Experience with ALM tools such as JIRA - Experience in performing API testing using tools like Postman and Jmeter - Working in an Agile/Scrum development process - Experience of Behavior Driven Development This job description provides an overview of the work performed.
