Job Description

Must Have Skills: Data Engineering, PySpark/Python, Data Bricks/Data Lake, Azure

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and PySpark
• Build and maintain robust ETL/ELT workflows across structured and semi-structured data sources
• Write efficient, production-grade SQL queries for data transformation, validation, and reporting
• Collaborate with data architects and analysts to ensure data integrity, performance, and security
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for data workflows using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance and failures in real-time
• Document technical designs, data flows, and operational procedures

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering, with strong hands-on exposure to Azure ecosystem
• Proficiency in PySpark for distributed data processing and transformation
• Advanced SQL skills for complex joins, aggregations, and performance tuning
• Deep understanding of Azure Data Factory, including pipeline orchestration, triggers, and linked services
• Experience with Azure Synapse, Data Lake Storage, and Databricks is a plus
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and agile development practices
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
